Deriving his inspiration from music, fashion & lifestyle universes, Riga based illustrator Sergio Laskin aka Studio 43 invites the viewer into poppy settings full of glitz, grunge and glamour. His sexy girls are easily recognizable as 70s candy darlings, ‘80s pop princesses and 90s riot grrrls.

For vector artist and graphic designer Sergio Laskin, popular culture is the eternal frontier. His bright, fun illustrations are a synthesis of the seventies, eighties & nineties; the era of possibilities that had it all: pop glam & glitter, retro and grunge, style, substance and loads of fun.
